PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and simply make variable a back electromotive voltage constant, enlarging an operable speed range and torque range, and at the same time to enlarge high-efficiency operable range. SOLUTION: An AC motor 10 is composed of a stator 12, a rotor 14, and a rotary part 13 that can be rotated between the stator 12 and the rotor 14. The nearly cylindrical rotary part 13, that is made of a magnetic body is provided with a plurality of, for example six, projection parts 18, ..., 18 that project from an area on an outer-periphery surface to the outside in the diametrical direction and at the same time are extended along a rotary axial line O, and the projection parts 18, ..., 18 are arranged in the peripheral direction at a specific interval. The outer-periphery surface of the projection parts 18 of the rotary part 13 is provide with a smaller outside diameter than the inner diameter of the inner-periphery surface of teeth 15 of the stator 12, and the inner- periphery surface of the rotary pat 13 is provided with a larger inside diameter than the outer diameter of the outer-periphery surface of the rotor 14. The rotary part 13 is turnable able with respect to the rotary-axis line O for the stator 12 and relative to the rotor 14.
