PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high precision linear feeding mechanism, which prevents the eccentricity of a magnetic screw rod from appearing as the vibration of a mobile unit which is moved along a straight line. SOLUTION: A magnetic screw rod 1, which is a means for converting a rotary motion into a linear reciprocal motion, is magnetized in two constitutions. The ratio of the lead of the magnetization of a 1st magnetic sleeve 4 to the lead of the magnetization of a 2nd magnetic sleeve 5 is set to be a value as intended by the design. A 1st slider unit 6 is moved along a straight line following the rotation of the magnetic screw rod 1 and a 2nd slider unit 7 is moved along a straight line, at a speed corresponding to the ratio intended by design. A nonmagnetic cover 2, which covers the magnetic screw rod 1 and is fixed to a frame, is provided and the vibrations of the 1st and 2nd slider units 6 and 7 which are caused by the eccentricity of the magnetic screw rod 1 are prevented.
