PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor with a linear drive mechanism which can convert the rotary motion of the motor into a linear motion securely with a thrust force corresponding to the output of the motor, even if the size of the motor is very small, and which is easy to manufacture. SOLUTION: A motor, which comprises a casing 1, an exciting coil 3 fixed to the inside of the casing 1, a rotor magnet 8 placed rotatably in the exciting coil 3 with a gap therebetween and a shaft 7 to which the rotor magnet 8 is integrally attached and whose one end is extended from the exciting coil 3, a displacement member 9, which is integrally provided on the extended part 7a of the shaft 7 movably in the axial direction of the shaft and rotatably and has male screws 12a formed on the outer circumference thereof, and a drive unit casing 14 whose female screws 14a formed on the inner circumference thereof are screwed with the male screws 12a and which is formed integrally on the casing 1 is provided.
