PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charging control circuit, capable of using an ordinary battery connector, without the need for additional pins for battery-free charging detection. SOLUTION: When a CPU 46 for detection the voltage of a battery voltage line 43 is provided and a charging circuit is connected to a charger 42 without a battery, voltage is supplied to the battery voltage line 43 from the charger 42 via an auxiliary charging switch 54, so as to start up the CPU 46 by the voltage. The voltage of the battery voltage line 43 immediately exceeds a prescribed voltage, so that an output signal is outputted from the output port of the CPU 46, turns off the auxiliary charging switch 54 to stop the operation of an auxiliary charging circuit, and cuts off the voltage of the battery voltage line 43 simultaneously, thereby stopping the operation of the CPU 46.
