OBJECTIVE LENS DRIVING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an objective lens driving device having a high secondary resonance frequency for a movable part, used for an optical pickup for performing high-speed recording/reproducing in an optical disk. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a movable part having one magnet 3 fixed to the side face of a lens holder 2 for holding an objective lens 1, and a coil 10 arranged to face this magnet 3 keeping a specified gap. Thus, moment around the driving point of a movable part is reduced, and the strength of the lens holder 2 is increased.
