摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magneto-resistance effect element having high output and durability and a high recording density magnetic recording and reproducing device utilizing the element. SOLUTION: A magnetic film of a multi-layered film of the magneto- resistance effect element is constituted of a laminated film of Co and NiFe and a high magneto-resistance effect and high sensitivity to a magnetic field are compatible. Thereby, the high recording density magnetic recording and reproducing device and a magneto resistance effect head having high output, high current resistance and high sensitivity to the outer magnetic field are obtained.
