PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily convert data at high speed only by once reading the data mutually between apparatuses having a PS/2 interface and apparatuses having the other interface. SOLUTION: An analyzer 3 of a PS/2 interface converter 6 searches whether a packet is received or not and whether a received packet is from another interface driver 5 or not. When the packet is not a packet received from the other interface driver 5, as a packet received from the apparatus 1 having the PS/2 interface, the data code of this packet is made into address. Next, on the basis of the read data code, data are converted to the constitution of the PC body or of the apparatus 7 having the other interface and sent through the other interface driver 5 to the PC body or the apparatus 7 having the other interface. Similarly, concerning a packet received the other interface driver 5, the packet is converted to the constitution of the PC body or the apparatus 7 having the other interface and transmitted as well.
