PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain uniform dispersion of electrified particles and to decrease uneven distribution of the electrified particles for long-term use in a display device which displays by applying a voltage on a dispersion system having electrified particles dispersed in an insulating liquid to move the electrified particles. SOLUTION: A first electrode 5 and a conductive film 9 are formed on the surface of a light-transmitting tube 4 in which partition walls 10 are regularly formed in the longitudinal direction on the inner wall by partial shrinking by heat, and a dispersion system 3 having electrified particles 2 dispersed in an insulating liquid 1 is sealed in the tube 4. A plurality of these tubes are arranged on a first substrate 7 with the first electrode 5 in contact with the first substrate 7, and a second substrate 8 having a second electrode 6 is disposed and fixed on the tubes 4.
