ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC TONER AND IMAGE FORMING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming method capable of preventing the occurrence of image defects due to filming and defective electrostatic chargeability. SOLUTION: The electrophotographic toner contains a colorant, an electrostatic charge controlling gent, a bonding resin, polyolefin having 75-130 deg.C melting point, a number average molecular weight of 1,000-10,000 measured by a viscosity method, 10-5,000 cPs melt viscosity at 140 deg.C measured with a Brookfield viscometer or a penetration of <=10 (JIS K-2530) as a releasing agent and a resin composition comprising a graft polymer obtained by graft-polymerizing a styrene polymer chain or a styrene-(meth) acrylic polymer chain on the same polyolefin. The releasing agent and the resin composition are contained by 0.2-20 pts.wt. each based on 100 pts.wt. bonding resin.
