PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device capable of avoiding display quality from being lowered by compensating for the change in the characteristics of a TFT due to static charges or the like. SOLUTION: A waveform adjusting means making the waveform of a scanning signal which is supplied to a specific gate bus line (Nth gate bus line) to which a TFT whose characteristics is changed is connected to a waveform different from that of a scanning signal which is to be supplied to other gate bus lines is provided in this display device. The waveform adjusting means usually supplies a scanning signal having a prescribed waveform to gate bus lines. When the device connects a specific gate bus line to which a TFT whose characteristics are changed due to static charges or the like is connected with the waveform adjusting means and the device detects the start of the supply of the scanning signal to the specific gate bus line, the device changes the fall waveform of the scanning signal.
