PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic component of a structure, wherein information on a program soft version housed in a semiconductor device can be simply confirmed and a confirmation of an exchange of the semiconductor deice with other seniconductor device can be performed easily and reliably. SOLUTION: An electronic component is provided with a semiconductor device 3 which is formed by sealing a memory chip 1 house with programs and data and an IC chip 2 housed with information on an ID, a socket 4 which is connected with this device 3, and an antenna 6 which is connected with the device 3 via the socket 4 and communicates the information on an ID housed in the chip 2 with a scanner in a non-contact state. The information being housed in the chip 2 in the device 3 is transmitted from the antenna 6 to read the information by the scanner in a non-contact state, and whether the device 3 is a compatible one or is an incompatible one can be detected by the collation of this read information. |
