PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery pack having which quickly detects abnormalities of a battery and to use it in a safer state. SOLUTION: This battery pack includes a plurality of secondary batteries 1, connected in series or parallel having their respective temperature detector 4, which consists of a switching circuit 6 for comparing the voltage of the battery with a first prescribed voltage, and a temperature detector 5 connected via the switching circuit 6 to the battery adjacent thereto. If the voltage of the battery becomes larger than the first prescribed voltage, the switching circuit 6 is turned on so as to connect the temperature detector 5 to the battery to heat it.
