PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an inclination sensor which does not require a separate electrode pair used to detect a right inclination and a left inclination and which does not become large, when an output is made large in order to detect a very small inclination. SOLUTION: A case 1 is provided. A support shaft 2, which is held by the case 1, is provided. A pendulum 3, which is held so as to be turned and moved freely inside one plane by gravity with reference to the shaft 2 and in which a moving electrode 4 is installed in a part, is provided. A terminal plate 5 with an installed fixed electrode 6, which is installed in a position facing the electrode 4 and whose area facing the electrode 4 installed at the pendulum 3, is changed properly according to a rotation amount, when the pendulum 3 is turned is provided. A means which detects a change in a capacitance constituted of the electrode 4 and the electrode 6 is provided.
