<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device capable of moving in a display area with simple operation, for which a pointing device such as mouse is used, concerning a device for displaying data on a display monitor while using a computer. SOLUTION: This method is provided with two kinds of operating modes of ordinary mode and read mode, steps S4 and S6 for selecting any one of operating modes on the basis of an entry from a mouse and a step for selectively executing any one of operation S14 and S18 for moving the display area on the data displayed by the display monitor in response to the input of a moving amount pointed by the mouse while the read mode is selected and operation S26 for moving a pointer position displayed on the display monitor in response to the input of a moving amount pointed by the mouse while the ordinary mode is selected.</p> |
