PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document repository device capable of executing navigating retrieval between document components, consistent management for the deletion, addition, updating, etc., of document components and batch edition of document components. SOLUTION: The document repository device is provided with a DTD management part 11 for managing the definition of DTD on the basis of a schema in order to manage a structured document based on the DTD of SGML, a document component management part 12 for managing each document component to which a tag defined by the DTD is stuck on the basis of the schema, a meta-model management part 21 for managing a model of link relation as a schema in order to manage the structured document by linking it with another structured document by the grain sizes of words, sentences and components in the structured document on the basis of the DTD of the SGML, and a tag management part 22 for defining and managing tags for newly linking with another structured document on the basis of the schema. The device is also provided with a document component management part 23 for managing document components to which respective tags are stuck, the link relation of these document components and the appearance positions of respective document components in the structured document and an object directional DB 3 for managing the schema definition of document components and its instances. |
