PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a core for electromagnetic actuator, capable of reducing the production cost and improving durability by simplifying a structure while securing high energy efficiency. SOLUTION: A core 10 for electromagnetic actuator for attracting an armature is provided with plural core plates 14 of magnetic substances laminated for constituting a magnetic circuit in the gap with the armature, two core holders 11 of nonmagnetic substances for crimping the plural core plates 14, an insulating coating for insulating the intervals of the core plates 14, and a rod for mutually integrally fixing the plural core plates 14 and two core holders 11. For the core plate 14, a projection protruded outwardly from the surface is fitted into the recess of the adjacent core plate 14, in a state of blocking the relative movement of the armature in the direction of attraction.
