METHOD FOR SUPPRESSING HIGH TEMPERATURE OXIDATION OF UNHEATED PART OF BOILER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for deciding an adhesion of scale having no erroneous decision even when a heat transfer coefficient upon restarting under residual pressure in a boiler is different from that upon steady boiling. SOLUTION: A boiler body 1 formed by many water tubes 4 is provided with a pressure sensor 11. A temperature sensor 17 is provided in the prescribed part of the water tubes 4. The temperature sensor 17 and the pressure sensor 11 are connected to a controller 12. The adhesion of scale in the water tubes 4 is decided with the lapse of prescribed time after the combustion of a burner 6 is started upon restarting when residual pressure exists in the boiler body 1.
