<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent signal wiring from being disconnected due to contamination on the surface of a semiconductor layer interposed between an insulating film and the signal wiring to increase insulation between Cs wiring and gate wiring forming a liquid crystal display device and the signal wiring overlapping these pieces of wiring via the insulating film. SOLUTION: A crossing part semiconductor layer 5a to be arranged under signal wiring 4 is patterned so as to have a width narrower than the signal wiring 4. The signal wiring 4 covers the upper face and side face of the crossing part semiconductor layer 5a. Therefore, even if contamination occurs on the surface of the crossing part semiconductor layer 5a, etchant does not infiltrate into the contaminated part at the time of patterning the signal wiring 4 to be formed on the layer in the following process, and the signal wiring is prevented from being disconnected.</p> |
