<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card edge connector that ensures satisfactory contact reliability even if it makes defective electrical connection with a daughter board, by making electrical contact between one contact on remaining connect contact and the daughter board. SOLUTION: A connector contact 1 is provided with a first and a second connection projection 2 and 3 working independently of each other. Thus, even if a signal terminal is interposed with a foreign matter 8, resulting in contact error with the first connection projection, the second connection projection 3 ensures electrical contact with the signal terminal. This enables the connector to be used reliably, and with stand use, even in an environment where there is much dust.</p> |
