PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wet image forming device capable of preventing liquid developer from being discarded or leaked at the time of performing maintenance service for a developing device. SOLUTION: After a carrying pump 34 is reversely rotated to restore the liquid developer 1 of a developing part 21 to an adjusting tank 30, the developing part 21, a developing roller 22 and a developer recovery part 23 are separated and detached from a developing unit 13, whereby the liquid developer 1 is prevented from being discarded or leaked at the time of maintenance. At the time of forming an image, the concentration and the amount of the liquid developer 1 stored in the tank 30 are controlled based on the detected result by a concentration detection means and a liquid amount detection means. |
