PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the step of joining part in the partial images of a composite image inconspicuous by correcting slight deviations in the reading position of the partial images which is caused by plays, etc., in a driving part in an image processing apparatus for composting the image from the parting images. SOLUTION: The first divided image is photographed (S1), the luminance data of a feature image is calculated from the image pickup data (S2), the second divided image is photographed (S3) in advance and the luminance data of the feature image is calculated from the data (S4). A position deviating amount between the feature images is calculated from the luminance data of the feature images (S5), an image division input means and an original stand are relatively moved by the position deviation amount (S7), the second division image is photographed (S8), and the both division images are composited (S9). Thus, the slight position deviation between the feature image is corrected. |
