PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic force propulsion method and apparatus for obtaining propulsion force under vacuum from an electrical energy only. SOLUTION: A frequency control means for controlling the frequency of each AC current flowing through a plurality of conductors 1 and 2, phase control means 5 and 6 for controlling the phase of each AC current, and a means 7 for controlling the distance between conductor for controlling the distance between the conductors 1 and 2 are provided. By utilizing time delay required form an electromagnetic field created by an AC current flowing through the conductor 1 to be propagated to the position of the other conductor 2, the direction of electromagnetic force operating on the conductors 1 and 2 is operated independently, thus obtaining propulsion force for driving a system formed by the plurality of conductors. |
