PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the fixing device which enables a fixing belt to travel surely and endlessly. SOLUTION: The fixing device is equipped with a fixing roller 28, a pressure roller 30 which rolls on the fixing roller 28 with specific pressure, a support roller 34 which is arranged separately from the fixing roller 28, a fixing belt 36 which is extended endlessly between the support roller 34 and fixing roller 28, and a heating means 32 which heats the fixing belt 36 to heat unfixed toner on a sheet passing between the rolling parts of the fixing roller 28 and pressure roller 30 and fixes the unfixed toner on the sheet by making passing the sheet which carries the unfixed toner on the surface between the rolling parts in one direction; and this device is equipped with a driving means 64 which drives and rotates the pressure roller 30 and support roller 34 at the same time.
