PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method able to provide a simple and effective method by which a photographic album is prepared without necessitating the storage of a large amount and an extremely high speed transmission system. SOLUTION: By this method, image data are systematized, and a film having a plurality of frames and provided with a plurality of magnetic tracks related to each frame is prepared, and the image whose resolution is low is prepared by scanning the film and is displayed so that the systematizing sequence of the frame can be selected. After he frame is selected, data to discriminate the systematizing sequence are stored in a leader or the magnetic track. Then, the film is processed so that the systematizing sequence of the frame is printed.
