PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a photographic processing device to be downsized and to sort many orders at a time without hindering the processing relating to a processing liquid, such as replenishing and recovering. SOLUTION: This photographic processing device has a development processing section 4, a drying processing section 5 which discharges the photographic paper processed in the development processing section 4 to any discharge port including a discharge port for sorting and a sorter 6 for sorting the photographic paper discharged from the discharge port for sorting. The shorter 6 extends from the lateral side of the drying processing section 5 to the lateral side of the development processing section 4 and can selectively take a closed position which is close to opening/closing doors 46 and 47 on the front side of the development processing section 4 and where the photographic paper discharged from the discharge port for sorting is discharged and an open position which is more parted from the opening/closing doors 46 and 47 than the closed position.
