PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cause download loading of data without fail by distinguishing the loading data from a telephone line from an incoming call for a speech communication purpose, etc., and also to continue automatic answering by making a telephone terminal device absolutely and automatically answer the incoming call of the speech communication purpose, etc., without fail. SOLUTION: A CPU 3-1, which detects disconnection of a line in the telephone terminal device 2 as automatic answering to the incoming call from the telephone line 1, monitors the loading data from the line 1 for a prescribed period after detecting the line disconnection in the device 2. When the loading data are detected during this monitoring, the closed line in the device 2 is forcedly opened to start the downloading of the loading data.
