The curler (1) has a heat resistant roller (11) for rolling the hair which has a hollow cylindrical main section (111) with two ends and an axial central hole (1111) which passes through both ends. A heat-resistant elastic attachment cap (12) is provided for attaching the hair to the roller, where the cap has an attachment ring (121) and several axially extending ridges (122). The attachment cap is pulled down over the roller once the hair has been rolled so as to hold it in place.
