PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a laser having a large output power, by excluding the factors of restricting the number of the provided stages of its condensers, and by augmenting the framework of the number of the provided stages. SOLUTION: The end surfaces of laser media 1 are molded and machined into flat surfaces 5a and concave surfaces 5b. The curvatures of the end surfaces of the respective laser media 1 are so selected that their thermal-lens strengths become identical when giving an identical excitation to them. As a result, the variation among the thermal-lens strengths of the laser media 1 is corrected. |
