PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-aqueous battery with noticeable sealing means that prevents leakage of the non-aqueous electrolyte, and the degradation of the performance due to penetration of water. SOLUTION: A non-aqueous electrolyte battery includes a battery can for mounting the battery elements, battery cap for covering the opening of the battery can, and insulation sealing gasket for sealing the joint between the battery can and cap. The insulation sealing gasket is made of a mixture of a resin and rubber with a compression set rate of 35-97% after maintaining at 70 deg.C for 22 hours. |
