The landing gear has a stiffening arm (20) between the fixed joint (22) on the leg (50) and a pin (25) which slides in the structure bracket (105,106) and is actuated by a hydraulic actuator to stiffen the leg longitudinally when the actuator (60) deploying the leg is actuated.
