PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plate heater applicable to both a large diameter and a small diameter objects. SOLUTION: A positioning means is provided to hold a object on the surface of the insulator inserting an electric resistor (2) consisting of a metal foil material into a plate-shaped insulator (10). The positioning means comprises a pin- shaped positioning means consisting of several pins (9) which are protruded and arranged at predetermined interval on a virtual circumference on the surface of the insulator for the edge of a large-object, and a ring shaped positioning means (8) which is detachably arranged in an inner side of the pin shaped positioning means for positioning a small-object (7).
