PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of pressure connect a wire to a terminal, which prevents a terminal t from being risen and makes fitting of a cover smooth. SOLUTION: A pressure connection blade 1 and a wire a are guided by a wire guide 2 and the wire a is pressed into a terminal t in a connector C1. After pressing, the wire guide 2 is separated from the connector C1 and then the pressure connection blade 1 is separated. If the wire guide 2 is separated to a state where it is pressed by the pressure connection blade 1, rising of the wire guide 2 and terminal t due to the pressure connection is avoided. Also, a stress to the terminal t of the wire guide 2 is borne by the walls e of a cavity s. That is to say, the all stress is borne by the wall e, evenly. For this reason, even though the pressure blade 1 is separated, the stress to the terminal t is borne equally by the walls e. Accordingly, the rising of the terminal t is significantly reduced, and fitting of a cover can be performed in a smooth manner.
