PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a button switch device for an electronic instrument that integrates a plurality of button switches. SOLUTION: A button switch 6 is diagonally connected through a first connector 11 to a button switch 9, and likewise, a button switch 7 diagonally connected through a second connector 12 to a button switch 8 with the first and second connectors 11 and 12 crossed, so that the left upper position is occupied by the button switch 6, the right lower position by the button switch 9, the right upper position by the button switch 7, and the left lower position by the button switch 8. The key top part 6a of the button switch 6 is inserted in an opening 10a, the key top part 7a of the button switch 7 in an opening 10b, the key top part 8a of the button switch 8 in an opening 10c, and the key top part 9a of the button switch 9 in an opening 10d. The front part is covered by a panel 1.
