PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser coupler capable of still recording and reproducing with high precision in spite of being miniaturized. SOLUTION: When return light from a CD is made incident on the slope 25a of a micro prism 25 at an incident angle different from the incident angle of return light from a DVD, third and fourth light receiving parts 33, 34 being the light receiving part for the CD are arranged so that a line O2 connecting the center of the third light receiving part 33 to the center of the fourth light receiving part 34 is non-parallel to a line O3 connecting the center of the first light receiving part 31 being the light receiving part for the DVD to the center of the second light receiving part 32. |
