PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily remove a pipe without any trouble irrespective of a steel pipe, a vinyl pipe, a cast iron pipe, etc. SOLUTION: The pipe removing method comprises a process to open a pipe checking circular hole 11 in one place of a side wall of the pipe 1 to store a wire, a process to cut the pipe 1 by a longitudinal cutter along the longitudinal line 12 passing the circular hole 11, a process to open the pipe 1 along the longitudinal line 12 by inserting a pair of semi-columnar opening claws 36 and 37 of a pipe opening machine which are butted in a columnar shape into the circular hole 11, and moving the opening claws 36 and 37 in a separating direction, and a process to remove the pipe 1 coveting the wire by inserting a pair of opening plates 33 and 34 of the pipe opening machine 3 into an opened portion of the pipe, moving the opening plates 33 and 34 in the separating direction, and further opening the pipe 1 along the longitudinal line 12.
