摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide drying method, where nitrate based on acetate impregnated with a porous nickel sintering substrate, becomes a 6-water salt in an intermediate drying in a charging cycle of an active material. SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing an alkali battery has a charging cycle, comprising an immersing step of immersing a porous nickel sintering substrate in an aqueous solution, based on acetate consisting of nickel acetate and cobalt acetate to impregnating the acetate with the porous nickel sintering substrate, an intermediately drying step of heating to dry the porous nickel sintering substrate and an immersing step of the intermediately dried porous nickel sintering substrate in an alkaline solution, with the active material being charged in the porous nickel sintering substrate in a given amount by repeating the charging cycle a prescribed number of times. In the intermediate drying step of the charging cycle, by adjusting to the provision that the acetate impregnated with the porous nickel sintering substrate at the end of the immediate drying step is based on 6-water salt, the alkali battery is prepared.
