<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that accumulation capacity cannot completely be used up. SOLUTION: A picture take-in part 101 taking in a picture and outputting it as a digital picture, a scalable encoding part 102 compressing the digital picture at a bit rate which is set and generating encoding data, a data accumulation part 103 accumulating encoding data, an accumulated residual capacity managing part 104 managing accumulated residual capacity, a photographing number setting part 105 setting the number of pictures which are to be photographed hereafter with respect to the accumulated residual capacity and outputting the bit rate allocated to encoding data of the respective pictures at the time of setting the number of photographing pictures and the remaining number of photographing pictures/picture quality display part 106, which displays the number of pictures that can be photographed hereafter at the bit rate which is set at the time of photographing and a picture quality level which can be kept at the bit rate, are installed. Thus, the device can be realized without executing a redundant processing, accumulated capacity can be used without a gap and a problem that the last one picture cannot be accumulated can be avoided.</p> |
