PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an antenna system for satellite communication with less electric characteristic deterioration due to dew condensation by preventing the dew condensation on the inside of a waveguide. SOLUTION: A silica gel waveguide is placed near a support of the antenna system and a humidity sensor and a display section are arranged in the antenna system so that an absorption state of water contents in silica gel can easily be confirmed in a room which people can easily enter. Furthermore, when the silica gel absorbs moisture and it indicates that a prescribed value of relative humidity is in existence, a heater heats the silica gel to regenerate it thereby eliminating the need for replacement.
