PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming method by which an excellent image is provided without necessitating a troubolesome process, damaging an image carrier and also having a problem with respect to environmental sanitation. SOLUTION: By this image forming method, a latent image is formed by using an electric charge or polarization on the image carrier, and the latent image formed is developed by using water-color ink incorporating a colorant having the electric charge whose polarity is reverse to that of the latent image.
