PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a zoom lens barrel which does not present the possibility of a radial direction projection guided inside plural guide grooves crossing each other falling from the corresponding guide groove at the crossing position of the guide grooves. SOLUTION: In this zoom lens barrel provided with first and second bottomed grooves of different tracks crossing with each other and provided on the inner peripheral surface of a cylindrical member, a first moving member provided with a first radial direction projection fitted to the first bottomed groove and movable, corresponding to the first bottomed groove track to the cylindrical member and a second moving member provided with a second radial direction projection fitted to the second bottomed groove and movable corresponding to the second bottomed groove track to the cylindrical member, the shapes of the first bottomed groove and the first radial direction projection and the shapes of the second bottomed groove and the second radial direction projection are set, so as not to engage the second radial direction projection to the first bottomed groove and not to engage the first radial direction projection to the second bottomed groove.
