PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide such a laser driving device that can set a light emitted from a laser light source at a desired characteristic. SOLUTION: This laser driving device is composed of a photodetector 21 for detecting a light emitted from a laser light source 1, an amplification circuit 23 for amplifying a detected signal from the photodetector 21 at a first frequency band including a range of DC-1 Hz, an amplification circuit 24 for amplifying a detected signal from the photodetector 21 at a second frequency band including a range of 10 kHz to 10 MHz, a CPU 44 for setting the driving current of the laser light source 1 on the basis of at least either of an optical power signal Pa from the amplification circuit 23 and a nozzle level signal Pb from the amplifcation circuit 24, a laser driving circuit 32 for driving the laser light source 1 on the basis of the driving current set by the CPU 44, or the like.
