ELECTRIC CONNECTOR WITH ELECTRIC SHIELD HAVING LATCH AND SETTING ARM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric connector with an electric shield having a latch and a setting arm. SOLUTION: An electric connector includes a housing adapted to receive a portion of a printed circuit board; an electric contactor connected to the housing; and an electromagnetic interference(EMI) shield connected to the housing. The shield has a hole through which a mate electric connector is passed to a receiving region of the housing. Also, the shield has a spring portion extended into the hole and a first arm extended from a back end of the shield. The arm is adapted to maintain the shield relative to the housing and to maintain the printed circuit board and the housing relative to each other.
