MUSIC SIGNAL ENCODING METHOD, ENCODING PROCESSOR, AND MUSIC USE STATE DISCRIMINATION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and accurately recognize the use condition of music. SOLUTION: A music signal and tune information recorded in a recording medium are reproduced by a recording medium reproducing part 110 in an encoding processing system 10. The music signal is encoded in a prescribed data unit to generate an encoded signal by a signal processing part 120. Tune information and information indicating the time elapsed for use of the tune are added to the encoded signal in each prescribed data unit to generate an audio stream. It is multiplexed with other streams and is transmitted as a broadcasting signal by a transmission part 140. Tune information and information of the time elapsed for use are separated from the received broadcasting signal by a reception part 210 and are supplied to a signal analysis part 220. The analysis part 220 analyses which tunes have been used and how long music of the tunes have been used and successively stores analysis results in a storage part 230. Information stored in the storage part 230 is read out to easily discriminate the use condition of music.
