PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide facsimile equipment that a received document is stored in an envelope so that secrecy is kept and the classification of the received document is facilitated. SOLUTION: An individual address number and address information corresponding to known transmission source information are registered in facsimile equipment 1 (S101). At the time of receiving a document (S103; Y), the presence or absence of the individual address number is identified. When the individual address number exists (S104; Y), it is judged whether the document is to be stored in an envelope 12 or not (S105). When it is to be stored in the envelope 12 (S105; Y), address information corresponding to the individual number is taken out (S106), address information or transmission source information is printed on the prepared envelope 12 (S111). The received document is printed and is stored in the envelope 12 (S112). Then, it is discharged to an output tray (S113). When it is not stored in the envelope 12 (S105; N), the regular document is outputted (S107) and it is discharged to the output tray (S113).
