PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the processing of a jamming from if the jam occurs in a fixing device. SOLUTION: The fixing device 22 has a fixing roller 42 which has a heater inside, a pressure roller 44, and a fixing separation claw 46 which abuts against the surface of the fixing roller 42 and the fixing frame has halved constitution of an upper frame 84 and a lower frame 86. The upper frame 84 is provided with an exit-side form guide member 74 rotatably in a form conveyance direction and an exit-side form guide member 74 is energized toward the fixation separation claw 46 by an unillustrated torsion coil spring 88. The torque operating on the exit-side form guide member 74 by the torsion coil spring 88 is set larger than torque by the force that the exit-side form guide member 74 in exerted by a form P at the normal conveyance of the form occurs, the exit-side form guide member 74 is rotated by the form P and an escape space for the jamming form P becomes wide, so that the jam state up to the stop of the device is easily processed.
