PURPOSE: An apparatus for moving the position of an injector of a diesel engine is provided to improve the combustion efficiency of an engine and to reduce exhaust gas by allowing the injector to move up and down according to an air/fuel ratio of the engine. CONSTITUTION: An injector(10) is coupled to a predetermined portion of a cylinder head(2). A groove(11) having a predetermined size is formed at an inner wall of the cylinder head(2). A latching section(12) is installed in the groove(11). The upper and lower portions of the latching section(12) are elastically supported by springs(13,14). An air tank(20) is provided to generate a predetermined pneumatic pressure. The first and second connecting hoses(21,22) are provided to connect the air tank(20) and the groove(11). The first and second connecting hoses(21,22) are selectively opened/closed by the first and second valves(23,24).
