PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely braze an end plate to the end faces of the tank body and a header plate, concerning a tank for heat exchanger which is arranged in a heat exchanger such as a radiator, a capacitor, or the like, and its manufacture. SOLUTION: An end plate 19 is made in a plate form, and also projections 19a and 19b made integrally in the end plate 19 are projection-welded to the end faces 11d and 13d of the tank main body 11 and a header plate 13, and the section not projection-welded of the header plate 13 is brazed to the end faces 11d and 13d of the tank main body 11 and the end plate 19.
