PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate manufacturing of a motor whose thickness is thin as a whole, while an insulation performance between its core and windings is secured and the properties of the motor are nor deteriorated. SOLUTION: An armature 14 of a small-sized motor 1 has a plurality of standard core elements 40, which are stacked to compose a part of a core 12 and have 1st holes 44 into which a rotary shaft 6 is pushed and fixed, a plurality of hollow core elements 41 which are brought into tight contact with one end surface of the layered standard core elements 40, have 2nd holes 46 with large diameters at the centers thereof and are stacked to compose a part of the core 12 and a 1st insulation member 42 which has a 3rd hole into which the rotary shaft 6 is pushed in, and a coupling part 48 which is formed concentrically with the 3rd hole and coupled with the 2nd holes 46 of all the hollow core elements 41 at the center thereof and has a recessed part 49 into which a part of a commutator 15 is inserted and which is attached to the part of one end surface of the hollow core elements 41 where a winding 13 is formed, so as not to have the core 12 brought into direct contact with the winding 13.
