<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the lack of flexibility in a picture recording reservation method by a video deck and the enormous development scale of software in a reservation method of a high level by a data base. SOLUTION: In a video source 1 for television broadcasting, etc., an input section 2 carries out necessary processing by the instruction of a reservation control section 3 and stores videos in a storage section 4. The reservation control section 3 has a function to input and save a schedule for storing the videos in the storage section 4 by the input section 2 and a function to instruct the storage of the input section 2. The reservation control section 3 stores the videos in accordance with a periodic schedule file 6 describing the daily schedule of the video storage for one week. Also, the reservation control section makes it possible to store the videos in an exceptionally assigned day and time zone by a specific day schedule file 7 for storing the videos in preference to the video storage by the periodic schedule. A management information file 8 enables the schedule change of the day and the deletion of the stored information.</p> |
