PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transfer an electronic mail efficiently in time by operating back-up processing without confirming a memory capacity immediately when a radio situation becomes satisfactory. SOLUTION: The information in a mail server 1 is received by a personal handyphone system PHS 3 by a dial-up server 2, and transferred to an electronic mail terminal 5. At the time, a card 4 loaded on the PHS 3 is connected to the mail server 1 as the substitute of the electronic mail terminal 5 by selecting a place where a radio situation is satisfactory, and an electronic mail to the destination of a user stored in the mails server 1 is fetched through the dial-up server 2 and the PHS 3 by the electronic mail terminal 5. At that time, transfer data are received by using the possibility of the reception of the radio situation as a trigger without judging whether or not the transfer data can be stored in the memory of the PHS 3. Then, the transfer data are directly stored in the memory of the electronic mail terminal 5 without being stored in the PHS 3.
